GHOST STORY: Part Three "Friday the Thirteenth" The South Sound Paranormal Research Organization visited Gathering Grace Farm this past week while they were in town to give Ghost Tours at the haunted Lewis County Historical Museum and the following is what occurred... The five members of the Paranormal Investigation Team entered the historic farm house on March 7th for the first time and made a startling discovery. After discussing the background and unexplained phenomena of the house the Scooby-Doo team headed upstairs to find that four of the five doors were open. This is significant because all the doors were closed to keep the farm cat from sneaking into the rooms and no one had been upstairs in the last two weeks. As the Ghostbusters moved from room to room they commented on picking up energy and mysterious feelings. The Cuban Ambassadors room brought much attention but I wonder if our ghost problem had something to do with the European portrait that hangs in the living room of a misfortune child of the past? After much effort, the team was led to the basement where we found the famous dress from Venice. Was it the source of the spiritual manifestation or was it just a forgotten artifact? After careful analysis, we found two stains under the tulle that bled through the dress. Was there foul play? The answer to these many questions will have to wait until April when the South Sound Paranormal Team will return with their equipment for a night of investigation but also Casey and I will be able to return South for the excavation of the Patio room in Venice. I wonder if the spiritual world concocted this Covid-19 and the panic to keep us away from finding the answers to the Crystal Vault. It may be a coincidence but the world dramatically changed after I announced my intentions of opening the floor. What ever we are dealing with here is also causing unexplained occurrences there... The walls of City Farm Chehalis are now talking!

It's been a busy time for SSPR! Among the highlights:

We were the first to investigate the Gig Harbor Antique Mall in Gig Harbor, Washington. You can read about it here.
We participated in and consulted on several private residence investigations.
Members of SSPR investigated the site of the 1910 Wellington avalanche disaster. You can read more about Wellington here.
We welcomed satellite members Jenny, William, and Rob.
We participated in a great Kids' Ghost Camp held in historic Port Gamble, Washington.
We investigated two potentially haunted sites in Oregon City, Oregon including one site that had not previously been investigated by another team.
We enjoyed gathering with friends from other paranormal teams at the annual paranormal picnic on the Olympic Peninsula.
We participated in the Oregon Ghost Conference and Haunting for Hope. Team members Karen Frazier and William Becker spoke at both conferences.
Karen and William also spoke at the Port Gamble Ghost Conference in October.
We had a visit from a famous haunted object - the Dibbuk Box.
Karen was interviewed for an upcoming issue of Collectors Magazine about haunted objects.

There's still a little bit left of 2012. Here's what we have coming up for the remainder of the year and into 2013:

We're headed to the USS Turner Joy in November.
We're working on a business/private residence combination case in Southwestern Washington.
We have several investigations planned.
We will be at the Oregon Ghost Conference in March of 2013. Both Karen and William will be speaking.

Lewis County Historical Museum hosts after-hours ghost tours led by local paranormal investigators | The Daily Chronicle (chronline.com)

Once again the community has come out to support the Lewis County Historical Museum and knocked it out of the park. Thank you so much for your support of the museum.

Sadly The Chehalis Paranormal Forum has been canceled and will not be rescheduled. Please remain safe in these uncertain times and be kind to each other. SSPR looks forward to the future when we can move among our friends and family with confidence of safety in everyone's health.

We are so excited to publish an update to the speakers that will be participating in The Chehalis Paranormal Forum on August 28th 2021.

Exciting news the Chehalis Paranormal Forum is still happening and has been rescheduled for August 28, 2021. Mark your calendars and join us.

Due to Covid-19 restrictions and safety concerns the Chehalis Paranormal Forum has been postponed until 2021
